Lido said its development team is investigating an anomaly reported by the protocol accounting oracle in today’s stETH yield revaluation. According to Odaily, the revaluation showed an annualized yield of 2.04%, below the expected 2.15%. Lido said the deviation was not caused by validator slashing. The issue stemmed from a pending 32 ETH validator stake that was not included in the oracle’s calculation. Developers said they repeatedly checked the total balances of all Lido validators on Ethereum’s consensus layer at the time of the oracle report and afterward, and found no signs that any assets were at risk. Lido said users do not need to take any action. The team is still working to identify the root cause, and after a fix is deployed, the next yield revaluation will include the previously omitted assets in the calculation. Lido said it will publish a full update once the underlying cause is determined.
