Strategy Inc. (NASDAQ:MSTR) is joining the Invest America Business Pledge, committing to contribute to Trump Accounts for eligible children of its U.S. employees as the company expands its long-term wealth-building initiatives.

Strategy’s Contribution

In an official statement on Aug. 5, Strategy said it will contribute $250 annually to a Trump Account for every eligible child under 18 of its U.S. employees.

For children born on or after Jan. 1, 2025, Strategy will also make a one-time $1,000 contribution, matching the U.S. government’s initial seed investment for eligible newborns.

Strategy joins a growing list of participants in the Invest America Business Pledge, including Coinbase Global Inc. (NASDAQ:COIN), Circle Internet Group Inc. (NYSE:CRCL), Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (NYSE:GS).

Strategy said the program will begin after the U.S. Treasury issues final implementation guidance and employer contribution infrastructure becomes operational.

President and CEO Phong Le said the initiative aligns with Strategy’s long-term investment philosophy of encouraging financial education, long-term thinking and a culture of saving and investing from an early age.

During the week, Strategy added around $11.7 million to its existing cash balance after it offloaded $104.7 million worth BTC.

What Are Trump Accounts?

Trump Accounts, also known as 530A accounts, are tax-deferred investment accounts invested in low-cost U.S. index funds for children under 18.

Children born between 2025 and 2028 are eligible for a one-time $1,000 contribution from the U.S. Treasury upon enrollment. Employers can also make additional contributions on behalf of employees’ children, subject to IRS rules.

The company said the initiative extends its existing employee family benefits and reflects its broader conviction that long-term ownership of appreciating assets is one of the most effective paths to building financial security.
