According to ChainCatcher, the platform facilitates instant international fund transfers, and JPMorgan aims to expand its blockchain payment products to more Japanese businesses. This development occurs amid a growing interest among Japanese financial institutions in blockchain and stablecoin technologies. Major banks like Mitsubishi UFJ and Mizuho are currently testing yen-based stablecoins. Additionally, Japanese regulators are considering the approval of cryptocurrency ETFs as early as 2028.
