Hackers hijacked 12 DeFi websites registered with Name.com late Friday, using Step Drainer malware to trick visitors into approving wallet transfers; 10 domains were suspended at the registrar level on Saturday, while Flap and Kintsu remained operational. The Block traced about $138,000 in stolen funds onchain, according to The Block, though losses on Solana and Aptos may not be included and the number of victims remains unclear. Kintsu and Origami Finance blamed Vercel, while Name.com and Vercel had not publicly explained the incident.
