Data from the 2025 Comprehensive Transportation Spring Festival Work Task Force shows that since the Spring Festival travel rush started on January 14, as of January 19, the total number of inter-regional personnel movements has exceeded 1 billion. Among them, road travel accounts for nearly 80%. The Ministry of Transport has established a scheduling guarantee mechanism for busy service areas on highways during major holidays to maximize the charging needs of new energy vehicles
