
The Chinese University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Medicine adds "Research Transformation and Entrepreneurship" to promote interactive cooperation between industry, academia, and research investment

The Chinese University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Medicine has launched a new "Research Translation and Entrepreneurship" program aimed at promoting interactive cooperation among industry, academia, research, and investment, establishing an innovative ecosystem, and facilitating the translation of research achievements. The medical school plans to hold workshops to share knowledge about patents and intellectual property, and to incorporate relevant content into the curriculum. Over the past 10 years, the medical school has trained numerous physician-scientists, with students awarded the "Innovation and Technology Scholarship" ranking first among the eight major universities in Hong Kong. The new teaching and research building is expected to be completed in 2027, which will enhance enrollment capacity and research capabilities
