
A-share closing review: Shanghai Composite Index rises 0.81%, semiconductor sector continues to strengthen

By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.81%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 1.46%, the ChiNext Index rose by 2.03%, and the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index rose by 5.36%. On the market, the semiconductor sector continued to strengthen, with DiAo Micro, LuWei Optoelectronics, WeiEr Co., and DAWEI reaching the daily limit, while multiple stocks such as Huahong Semiconductor, Shanghai Silicon Industry, SQM, and Hengshuo Co. rose over 10%. The robotics concept surged, with stocks in the sector hitting the daily limit, including SANF, CSB, and Hanwei Technology, which all rose by 20%. The media and entertainment sector saw an afternoon rally, with Light Media rising nearly 5%. Sectors such as reducers, industrial mother machines, storage chips, and controllable nuclear fusion also saw significant gains, while coal, oil, banking, and electricity sectors experienced notable declines.
