The China Electricity Council announced today (the 2nd) that last year, the country's newly added power generation installed capacity reached 550 million kilowatts, of which wind and solar power generation accounted for a total of 440 million kilowatts of newly added installed capacity, reaching 80.2% of the total newly added power generation capacity.

According to statistics, the newly added power generation from wind, solar, and biomass currently accounts for 97.1% of the newly added electricity consumption in society, becoming the main source of new electricity consumption
