In "The Big Banks," Citigroup: REPT BATTERO forecasts a turnaround last year, with surprising net profit predictions for the second half

Citi published a research report indicating that REPT BATTERO (00666.HK) forecasted a turnaround in net profit last year, earning between RMB 630 million and RMB 730 million, which implies a net profit of approximately RMB 700 million to RMB 800 million in the second half of the year.

Citi stated that REPT BATTERO's profit forecast was surprising, with its potential net profit range in the second half exceeding the bank's estimate of about RMB 500 million. The bank currently forecasts the company's earnings for the fiscal years 2026 and 2027 to be RMB 1.3 billion and RMB 1.9 billion, respectively, and gives it an "outperform" rating
