
State Grid: The charging volume of new energy vehicles during the Spring Festival holiday is expected to reach a historical high
This year's Spring Festival holiday is expected to see a record high in electric vehicle charging volume. According to predictions from the State Grid's smart vehicle networking platform, during the Spring Festival holiday, the platform's daily peak charging volume for electric vehicles will exceed 34 million kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 17%. The daily peak charging volume on highways will surpass 11 million kilowatt-hours, with a year-on-year increase of over 23%. The peak travel charging times during the Spring Festival holiday are expected to be concentrated from February 14 to February 15 and from February 21 to February 23. It is anticipated that the charging volume on highways in Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province, and Anhui Province will reach historical highs, with the new energy charging piles on the Changshen Expressway, Shenhai Expressway, and Hukun Expressway being the busiest.
