In the resumption of trading, CITIC Resources sold 1.9 million shares of Alcoa, realizing 930 million yuan
CITIC RESOURCES (01205.HK) announced that on March 4th, it conducted a series of on-exchange transactions on the New York Stock Exchange, selling a total of 1.9 million shares of Alcoa (AA.US), accounting for 0.72% of its total share capital; the average price per share was USD 62.451, with a total consideration of approximately USD 119 million (about HKD 926 million).
After the completion, the company continues to hold 1.6919 million American depositary receipts and 551,300 shares of Alcoa; the cumulative income related to the sold Alcoa depositary receipts is approximately HKD 266 million. The company's shares have applied for resumption of trading on Friday (6th)
