The People's Bank of China today (12th) conducted a 24.5 billion RMB (same below) seven-day reverse repurchase operation in the open market, with the operation rate remaining at 1.4%. Today, 23 billion RMB of reverse repos are maturing, resulting in a net injection of 1.5 billion RMB for the day. The fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress held its closing meeting this afternoon at the Great Hall of the People.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 4,106 points, down 26 points or 0.6%, with a turnover of 700.8 billion RMB; the Shenzhen Component Index closed at 14,270 points, down 195 points or 1.4%, with a turnover of 894 billion RMB; the ChiNext Index closed at 3,293 points, down 56 points or 1.7%, with a turnover of 390.15 billion RMB.
In the banking sector, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH) fell 0.3%, while China Construction Bank (601939.SH) rose 0.4%. Additionally, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (300750.SZ) fell 0.7%. BYD Company Limited (002594.SZ) also fell 0.4%. Some photovoltaic stocks continued to rise, with Shiheng New Energy (301658.SZ) up 13.3%. Chint Power (002150.SZ) hit the daily limit.
Coal and related stocks saw an expanded increase, with Zhengzhou Coal Electricity (600121.SH), Yankuang Energy (600188.SH), Jinniu Chemical (600722.SH), LuHua Technology (600691.SH), and Hebang Biotechnology (603077.SH) all hitting the daily limit, while China Coal Energy (601898.SH) rose 9.8%.
International oil prices rose, and the three major oil companies opened lower but rebounded, with CNOOC (600938.SH), PetroChina (601857.SH), and Sinopec (600028.SH) rising between 0.3% and 2.1% in the morning session.
International gold prices fell, leading to a bearish trend in gold-related stocks, with Shandong Gold (600547.SH), Zijin Mining (601899.SH), Zhongjin Gold (600489.SH), and Zhaojin Mining (000506.SZ) falling between 1% and 4.4%.
Chip stocks generally declined, with Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (688981.SH) A shares down 1.8%. Hua Hong Semiconductor (688347.SH) A shares slightly rose 0.2%. AI chip stock Cambricon Technologies (688256.SH) fell 1%. Domestic GPU stocks, including Muxi Co., Ltd. (688802.SH) and Moore Threads (688795.SH), fell 3.7% and 3.2%, respectively
