Investors continue to weigh the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and their impact on economic growth, with European stock markets initially falling and then recovering on Friday. The pan-European STOXX 600 index is currently slightly up by less than 0.1%.
The UK FTSE 100 index rose by 5 points to 10,310 points.
The German DAX index fell by 29 points or 0.1% to 23,560 points.
The French CAC 40 index fell by 24 points or 0.3% to 7,959 points
