Changying-8 Chief Engineer: All Changying-8 Parts Have Been Localized

The "Changying-8" large cargo drone, independently developed by Beijing Beifang Changying UAV Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Norinco Group, successfully made its maiden flight at Zhengzhou Shangjie Airport. It has become the world's largest cargo drone to date to complete its first flight. The drone has a maximum payload of 3.5 tons, a takeoff and landing distance of less than 500 meters, a maximum range exceeding 3000 kilometers, and a fully enclosed cargo hold of 18 cubic meters.
