The reporter found that the differences in the annual report data between CEB Bank's versions on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange mainly lie in the branch section, where there are significant discrepancies in the asset scale of the branches. For example, the Tianjin branch's end-of-period asset scale is reported as 101.325 billion yuan in the Shanghai Stock Exchange version, while it is 59.836 billion yuan in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange version; the Shijiazhuang branch's end-of-period asset scale is reported as 120.269 billion yuan in the Shanghai Stock Exchange version, while it is 286.699 billion yuan in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange version; the end-of-period asset scale of the Qingdao branch is reported as 98.01 billion yuan and 443.188 billion yuan in the two versions, respectively, with a difference of about 4.5 times.
In addition, the asset scales of several other branches, such as the Shanghai branch, Ningbo branch, and Hangzhou branch, also show significant differences between the two versions. For instance, the asset scale of the Shanghai branch is only 39.54 billion yuan in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange version, which is more than ten times lower than the Shanghai Stock Exchange version (443.188 billion yuan). Regarding the asset data of overseas branches, the asset scales of the Seoul branch and Luxembourg branch in the Shanghai Stock Exchange version are consistent with those of the Hong Kong branch and Seoul branch in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange version.
From the summarized data, the total asset scale of the branches in both versions is consistent, both reporting 1,339 branches and 6.99 trillion yuan. Additionally, comparing the 2024 annual report data, the Shanghai Stock Exchange version may be the more reasonable version.
CEB Bank disclosed its 2025 annual report on the evening of March 30, with the A-share annual report prepared in accordance with Chinese accounting standards and the H-share annual report prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards, both audited by KPMG Huazhen LLP (Special General Partnership) and KPMG LLP, and issued standard unqualified opinions. In 2025, the bank reported no differences in net profit and net assets calculated according to Chinese accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.
