Sichuan: 2.05 Million Charging Facilities to Be Built Province-Wide by End of 2027

The Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission and other departments have issued the "Sichuan Province Electric Vehicle Charging Facility Service Capacity Doubling Action Plan." The action plan proposes to accelerate the improvement of the charging network, refine the charging structure, enhance charging efficiency, optimize service quality, and innovate the industrial ecosystem, further boosting consumer confidence and promoting the purchase and use of electric vehicles on a larger scale. By the end of 2027, 2.05 million charging facilities will be built across the province, providing over 17 million kilowatts of public charging capacity. A high-quality charging facility system that is balanced in layout, reasonable in structure, inclusive and shared, and intelligent and innovative will be basically established, meeting the charging demand of 4 million electric vehicles and achieving a doubling of charging service capacity.
