Valaris, Halliburton in pact to develop Petronas assets offshore Suriname
Valaris and Halliburton have formed a strategic collaboration with Petronas to develop offshore assets in Suriname, leveraging Valaris' drilling expertise, Petronas' project management, and Halliburton's subsurface solutions. This partnership aims to capitalize on the ongoing exploration success in the Guyana-Suriname Basin. Additionally, Valaris secured a 1,064-day contract extension with Petrobras for the Valaris DS-4 drillship, adding approximately $447 million to its contract backlog.
