
The Economist: Brazil's March S&P Global PMI Composite Output falls to 49.9
S&P Global released a Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) survey indicating that at the end of the first quarter, the Brazilian private sector activity was generally stagnant. The composite PMI output index fell from 51.3 in February to 49.9 in March. The latest data is close to the neutral line of 50, indicating that the output of the private sector is stagnant.
