China's A-share major indices turn red in the afternoon
The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.01%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.7%, and the ChiNext Index rose 0.94%. Over 2,000 stocks in the market were trading higher. The silicon energy sector saw a short-lived surge, with JYT hitting the daily limit, and Tongwei Co.,Ltd, Daqo Energy, Hoshine Silicon, Dongyue, and GUIBAO TECH all rising significantly.
