DoNews reported on April 13 that recently, a citizen in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, reported that a Zhongtong Express delivery person, Tian, stole a Longines watch from her home.

The People's Procuratorate of Jianye District, Nanjing, issued a "Non-Prosecution Decision" in April 2026, indicating that Tian stole a Longines watch from a desk in a secondary bedroom of a residential house in Jianye District and was released on bail by the Jianye Branch of the Nanjing Public Security Bureau on October 19, 2025. However, due to the minor nature of the crime, along with circumstances such as voluntary surrender, confession, and compensation, the procuratorate decided not to prosecute Tian.

On April 13, staff at the delivery point where Tian worked told DoNews that the matter has been "resolved," and the company has taken disciplinary action against Tian, resulting in his departure
