
April 14 Midday Review: ChiNext Index Surges Over 2% in Half-Day Trading; Computing Power Industry Chain Explodes Again
The Shanghai Composite Index opened with a red trend and experienced volatile oscillations in the morning session, while the ChiNext Index surged by more than 2%. The yellow and white lines exhibited divergent trends.
The computing power industry chain exploded again. In the computing power leasing segment, multiple stocks including HONGBO and Lettall Electronic hit the limit up. In the computing hardware segment, stocks such as Huasheng Chang and Hudian Shares also hit the limit up.
The memory chip sector continued its strong performance. DAWEI hit the limit up, and Biwin surged by more than 10%, with both stock prices reaching historic highs.
On the downside, the photovoltaic sector declined, with Guosheng Technology and Bangjie Shares falling to the limit down.
Individual stocks showed mixed gains and losses. The total trading volume for the morning session was 1.51 trillion yuan. As of the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.55%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.36%, and the ChiNext Index rose 2.13%.
