April 17 Midday Market Review: ChiNext Index Rises 0.82% in First Half; YUANJIE SEMICONDUCTOR Tops A-Share New Stock King

The SSE Index saw slight adjustments in the morning, while the ChiNext Index showed stronger performance. Optical communication concept stocks continued to surge, with YUANJIE SEMICONDUCTOR rising over 7%, surpassing Kweichow Moutai to top the list of A-share new stocks. CEM, KHtech, TDG, and other stocks hit the limit up. PCB concept stocks rallied, with DELTON hitting the limit up and its price continuing to set new all-time highs. Glass substrate packaging concepts remained active, with Woguang Optoelectronics and Rainbow Shares hitting the limit up. More individual stocks declined than rose, with approximately 3,800 stocks across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing exchanges turning green. Morning trading volume for the first half of the day reached 1.59 trillion yuan. At the midday close, the SSE Index fell 0.3%, the Shenzhen Index rose 0.33%, and the ChiNext Index gained 0.82%.
