US Sector ETFs Mostly Close Higher, Airline ETF Rises Over 4.8%
On Friday (April 17), the Global Airline Industry ETF closed up 4.84%, with Consumer Discretionary, Banking, Regional Bank, and Semiconductor ETFs each rising by at least 2.06%, while the Energy Industry ETF closed down 2.76%.
Year-to-date 2026, the Semiconductor ETF has accumulated a gain of 23.86%, the Energy Industry ETF rose 23.86%, the Global Tech Stock Index ETF gained 11.08%, and the Financial Industry ETF fell 3.78%.
