Green Power Leads the Province: Liaoning's New Energy Installed Capacity Surpasses Thermal Power to Become the Largest Power Source Type

Liaoning currently has a thermal power installed capacity of nearly 42 million kilowatts. On April 20, with the grid connection of the 500-megawatt Tieling Changtu Runhang project, the province's total new energy installed capacity reached 42.06 million kilowatts, thereby surpassing thermal power capacity and becoming the largest power source type in the province. This achievement signifies a substantive transformation of Liaoning's energy structure from 'thermal-dominated with green as supplementary' to 'green-dominated with thermal as supplementary'. (CCTV)
