"Port Building" Taikoo City transactions accelerate, with 21 recorded in April so far; a full sea view three-bedroom suite sold for 20.88 million

Centaline Property stated that Taikoo City in Quarry Bay recorded 21 transactions this month, an increase of over 30% compared to the same period last month, with an average usable area price of approximately HKD 16,100.

The branch recently facilitated the transaction of Unit H on a mid-floor of Mei Chiu Court in Taikoo City, with a usable area of 1,114 square feet, consisting of a three-bedroom suite with a maid's room, enjoying an unobstructed sea view. The owner initially priced it at HKD 22 million, listed it for about three months, and ultimately sold it to a homebuyer for HKD 20.88 million, equivalent to a usable area price of HKD 18,743.

It is understood that the original owner purchased the unit in 2000 for HKD 7.2 million and held it for 26 years, realizing a profit of HKD 13.68 million upon this transfer, with the unit appreciating nearly twofold
