Shanghai: Launches "AI+ Manufacturing" and "5G+ Industrial Internet" Special Actions to Support Development of Industry-Specific Large Models

The General Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government has issued the "Implementation Plan for the National Digital Economy Innovation Development Pilot Zone (Shanghai)". The plan highlights accelerating intelligent transformation and digitalization of key industries. It will implement special actions on "AI+ Manufacturing" and "5G+ Industrial Internet", supporting the R&D of industry-specific large models.

It aims to cultivate and develop new service models driven by data factors and artificial intelligence. This includes supporting strategic consulting, industry analysis, index publishing, asset valuation, and other service sectors to strengthen the application of data factors and digital technologies, transforming static data resources into dynamic value-added services.
