Over 1,000 M&A and Asset Restructuring Deals Added to A-Share Market This Year

Since the beginning of the year through April 21, A-share listed companies have first disclosed 1,077 merger and acquisition and Asset Restructuring transactions, totaling approximately 350 billion yuan in transaction value. Among them, there were 31 major Asset Restructuring cases.

It is worth noting that this round of M&A and Asset Restructuring activities shows a distinct industrial orientation—the targets are increasingly concentrated in strategic emerging industries such as high-end manufacturing, artificial intelligence, computing infrastructure, and the digital economy. The transaction logic revolves around core business synergy, technological enhancement, and supply chain extension, while instances of blind diversification and concept speculation have markedly decreased.
