Guangdong: Focus on Design and Manufacturing of Humanoid Robots to Advance Collaborative R&D of AI with Robot 'Brain', 'Cerebellum', and Body

The General Office of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government has issued a notice on printing and distributing the 'Action Plan for Accelerating High-Level Application of Artificial Intelligence Across All Domains, Times, and Industries in Guangdong'. The plan points out that regarding 'Artificial Intelligence +' intelligent robots, it will deepen the application of AI throughout the entire process of robot manufacturing and production. Key efforts will focus on breakthroughs in core technologies including human-robot interaction and decision planning, generative large models, and full-body collaborative control of humanoid robots. The plan also seeks to promote deep adaptation between AI algorithms and robot hardware, thereby optimizing design and manufacturing workflows.
