Until September 30, BMW and Mini EV drivers get a 20% discountwhen charging using Plug &amp; Charge or the My BMW app. Meanwhile, GM EV owners can enjoy a 10% discount when using Plug &amp; Charge or the manufacturer’s smartphone apps to manage the charging session.</p><p>Ionna is aggressively expanding its network of DC fast chargers in the U.S. The company was founded in 2024, and by the end of that year, it energized its first bays. There is no smartphone app, but multiple car manufacturers have integrated Ionna’s stalls into their own ecosystems, and the stalls feature contactless payment terminals for EV drivers who want to keep things simple.</p><div><div id="ads_6122441_EV_ev_us_Rectangle_rectangle_1_1779179604"></div></div><p>This year, Ionna turned on over 200 new charging bays, and many more are under construction.
