The tech-heavy Nasdaq has shown a notable decline.</p><p>Currently, the major averages are off their lows of the session but still in negative territory. <p>U.S. stocks are mostly lower as Treasury yields continue to rise. The Nasdaq has notably declined by 1% to 25,821.67, while the S&P 500 and Dow are down 0.7% and 0.4%, respectively. Despite being off their session lows, all major averages remain in negative territory.</p>

- Stocks generally moved lower on Tuesday, with major indices experiencing declines after a mixed performance the previous day.  
- The Nasdaq fell by 269.07 points (1 percent), while the S&P 500 decreased by 50.58 points (0.7 percent), and the Dow dropped 175.35 points (0.4 percent).
