China Feihe Limited ( (HK:6186) ) just unveiled an announcement.China Feihe’s wholly owned subsidiary Feihe HLJ has subscribed to a CITIC Bank wealth management product known as Xinyin Wealth Management Allwin Xiangzhiying Fixed Income Enhanced Profit Closed-ended Wealth Management Product No. 30, investing RMB200 million of idle funds. The non-principal guaranteed fixed-income product, carrying an expected annual return of 2.40% and maturing in June 2027, lifts the group’s outstanding principal in CITIC Bank wealth and structured deposit products to RMB2.2 billion.Management said the subscription terms were negotiated on normal commercial terms and align with its treasury strategy of enhancing returns on surplus cash while safeguarding capital and liquidity for operations and dividends. The company has put in place internal controls to ensure these investments do not constrain working capital, reflecting a continued effort to optimize cash yields versus standard bank deposits while maintaining a low-risk profile for shareholders.
