Huaibei GreenGold surges 8% in Hong Kong on marble mining pact
Huaibei GreenGold (2450.HK) surged 8.47% in Hong Kong trading to HK$9.155. The company previously said it plans to cooperate with Yuxing Mining on a marble mine project in Henan Province and has signed a letter of intent. According to the announcement, the target mine holds abundant reserves with relatively low mining costs, and the group expects the diversified cooperation to create new growth points.
Shares are up more than 180% year-to-date, and the stock was among the 52-week high list in Hong Kong at the end of July.
