Midday Review: The ChiNext Index fell 1.8% in half a day, with concept stocks related to high export ratios experiencing a collective sharp decline
The index opened lower in the morning and continued to decline, with the ChiNext Index and Shenzhen Component Index both down over 1% at midday. In terms of sectors, aquaculture stocks were strong in the morning, with Yongshun Biological hitting the daily limit up of 30%, and Xiangjia Co., Ltd. and Jinhai Biological also reaching the daily limit. The tourism and hotel sector strengthened, with Zhongke Yunwang, Dalian Shengya, and Lingnan Holdings hitting the daily limit. The precious metals sector remained active, with Western Gold leading the gains. Stocks with high export ratios collectively plummeted, with MOTO hitting the daily limit down of 20%, and Sailun Tire and Juxing Technology also hitting the daily limit down. Apple concept stocks declined, with Dongshan Precision and GoerTek hitting the daily limit down. The automotive industry chain adjusted, with millimeter-wave radar stocks leading the decline, and Ruiming Technology hitting the daily limit down. Overall, individual stocks showed a widespread decline, with over 3,900 stocks falling. As of the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index was at 3,333.09 points, down 0.51%; the Shenzhen Component Index was at 10,359.16 points, down 1.46%; and the ChiNext Index was at 2,066.67 points, down 1.80%. On the market, the China-South Korea Free Trade Zone, animal vaccines, and aquaculture sectors led the gains, while kitchen and bathroom appliances, small home appliances, and components sectors led the declines
