Ying Li International Real Estate Limited ( (SG:5DM) ) just unveiled an update.

Ying Li International Real Estate Limited has provided an update on long-running litigation in China involving its controlling shareholder China Everbright Limited and a plaintiff, Fang Ming. The case, heard in Chongqing courts and previously subject to appeal and remand, has now reached a retrial judgment that clarifies the financial responsibilities arising from a disputed sale transaction.

In the retrial judgment issued on 19 August 2026, the First Instance Court ordered China Everbright Limited to pay Fang Ming RMB 1.37 billion plus interest for outstanding consideration under the sale agreement. Crucially, the court dismissed all claims seeking joint and several liability from Ying Li and its subsidiaries, leading the company to conclude that the ruling will not have a material impact on its financial position, while it continues to monitor and disclose any future developments in the proceedings.
