Hainan Airport Infrastructure announced that in August 2025, the company's seven controlled airports and two managed output airports had a total of 13,903 takeoffs and landings, a year-on-year decrease of 3.32%; passenger throughput was 2.1762 million, a year-on-year decrease of 3.35%; and cargo and mail throughput was 8,142 tons, a year-on-year increase of 17.47%. As of the end of August, the cumulative number of takeoffs and landings was 112,400, a year-on-year increase of 4.88%; cumulative passenger throughput was 17.6434 million, a year-on-year increase of 4.75%; and cumulative cargo and mail throughput was 96,271 tons, a year-on-year increase of 11.82%
