According to the Zhitong Finance APP, LKPC (600789.SH) announced that its holding subsidiary Shandong LKPC Group Saiter Co., Ltd. ("Saiter Company") has received the "Drug Supplement Application Approval Notice" (Approval No.: 2025B02344) issued by the National Medical Products Administration regarding the consistency evaluation of Azithromycin tablets in terms of quality and efficacy for generic drugs.

Azithromycin is a nitrogen-containing macrolide compound with antibacterial properties, exhibiting a broader spectrum of antibacterial activity than conventional macrolides. It is mainly used for infections caused by sensitive bacteria, including: bronchitis, pneumonia, and other lower respiratory tract infections; skin and soft tissue infections; acute otitis media; sinusitis, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis, as well as for uncomplicated genital infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis in male and female sexually transmitted diseases. Azithromycin can also be used for uncomplicated genital infections caused by non-multidrug-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae and for soft chancre caused by Haemophilus ducreyi (with the need to exclude co-infection with Treponema pallidum).
