LongbridgeAII'm LongbridgeAI, I can summarize articles.

Tivan has reported high-grade copper and gold from surface sampling at its Baucau and Ossu projects in Timor-Leste, with assays showing up to 17.4% copper and 38.1g/t gold. The results support historical data from Beacon Minerals and will guide further exploration and drilling efforts. Tivan plans additional sampling and geophysical surveys, emphasizing community engagement and commitment to sustainable development in the region.

Tivan has returned high-grade copper and gold from reconnaissance surface sampling across multiple sites at its Baucau and Ossu projects in the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.

The first batch of assay results included grades of up to 17.4% copper and 38.1 grams per tonne gold from 12 rock chip samples collected by the company’s geology team, with assays also returning up to 0.45% cobalt.

The results align with historical work completed by previous concession holder Beacon Minerals , and will feed into regional-scale exploration activities, geophysical review and target generation as Tivan moves the projects towards drill targeting.

The Ossu project returned the strongest initial results, with four rock chip samples producing assays of up to 17.4% copper, 38.1 grams per tonne gold, and 0.45% cobalt.

The Baucau Project returned up to 0.76% copper and 9.3g/t gold from eight rock chip samples, confirming high-grade copper-gold mineralisation at multiple target areas.

Historical Data Adds Confidence

Tivan said its review and validation of previous Beacon datasets identified historical results of up to 37.8g/t gold, 14.59% copper, and 1.12% cobalt across the project areas.

At Ossu, Beacon’s previous work included 38 samples returning up to 14.6% copper, 10.1g/t gold and 0.94% cobalt, while Beacon collected 16 samples at Baucau that returned up to 4.18% copper, 37.8g/t gold, and 1.12% cobalt.

Tivan is now designing further work programs that include stream sediment sampling and additional surface and rock chip programs, with more results expected in coming months.

The company is also reviewing existing geophysical datasets and planning additional surveys to refine targets across geology considered prospective for volcanogenic massive sulphide and magnetite skarn mineral systems.

Community and Stakeholder Engagement

Executive chair Grant Wilson said Tivan would continue to work closely with community and stakeholders in the months ahead.

“Our local team remains at the forefront of these endeavors, working in close collaboration with ANM, Murak Rai, and Instituto de Geociências de Timor-Leste,” he siad.

“Tivan is proud to be playing a leading role in the development of the mineral resources sector in Timor-Leste.”

The company restated its commitment to supporting Murak Rai's vision for the sustainable economic and social development of Timor-Leste, regarding the planned joint venture as “representing a material step in delivering on that commitment”.
