[SINGAPORE] The following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Friday (Nov 6):

OCBC : The lender reported on Friday a 3 per cent rise in net profit for its third quarter amid strong performance across its wealth management and wholesale banking businesses. This was in spite of lower profit contributions from its insurance arm Great Eastern. Net profit for the three months ended Sep 30 stood at S$2.04 billion, compared with S$1.98 billion from the year-ago period. Shares of OCBC ended 0.3 per cent or S$0.08 higher at S$27.93 on Thursday.

IHH Healthcare : The healthcare group, which has a secondary listing on SGX, announced on Thursday that close to 400 employees will be leaving the organisation as part of efforts to consolidate its business support services. The affected employees are based in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Some employees will be moved into redesigned roles, while around 0.5 per cent of IHH’s total workforce of 76,000 will transition out of the organisation across the three markets. IHH shares ended flat at S$2.45 on Thursday, ahead of the announcement.

Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust (FLCT) : The real estate investment trust’s distribution per unit (DPU) remained unchanged at S$0.0295 for the second half ended September, as an increase in DPU before capital distributions from divestment gains was offset by lower distributions from such gains. The manager expects borrowing costs to rise in FY2027, reflecting higher interest rates on variable-rate borrowings and debt due for refinancing. Units of FLCT ended Thursday 1.7 per cent or S$0.015 higher at S$0.925.

SingPost : The company on Friday posted a 183.7 per cent rise in net profit to S$55.9 million for the first half ended Sep 30, from S$19.7 million a year earlier, largely driven by exceptional gains from property divestments. Revenue slipped 1.3 per cent to S$185.9 million from S$188.4 million, mainly due to lower international revenue amid a structural decline in letter mail volumes. Underlying net profit more than doubled to S$11.5 million from S$5.5 million, supported by improved operating performance and a tax provision write-back. Shares of SingPost closed 1.8 per cent or S$0.005 higher at S$0.29 on Thursday.

Koh Brothers Eco Engineering: The engineering solutions group said on Thursday that a former subcontractor, who commenced a claim in August 2026 against Koh Brothers Building & Civil Engineering Contractor (KBCE), a wholly owned subsidiary, and chairman Koh Keng Siang, discontinued its claims against the latter, with no order as to costs. However, the former subcontractor’s claims against KBCE and KBCE’s counterclaim against the claimant remain ongoing. The group said it will update its shareholders on any material developments in relation to this matter. Its counter ended 5.2 per cent or S$0.003 lower at S$0.055 on Thursday, before the announcement.
