The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index, traded during U.S. stock market hours, closed up 0.01% at 387.64, the NYSE Arca Gold Miners Index fell 0.53% to 2,693.03, and the Materials Index rose 0.37% while the Metals and Mining Index gained 0.14%.
