LongbridgeAII'm LongbridgeAI, I can summarize articles.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang anticipates chip shipments will nearly double by 2027, highlighting the upcoming Vera Rubin platform as a key growth driver. Vera Rubin is expected to generate $40 billion in income opportunity per gigawatt, surpassing Blackwell's $25 billion. Consequently, analysts have raised fiscal 2028 earnings forecasts to nearly $16 per share. Nvidia has increased supply commitments to $279 billion for Vera Rubin components, signaling strong demand and positioning the new platform as a significant expansion beyond current AI infrastructure capabilities.

Nvidia Corp. (NVDA, Financials), the chipmaker at the center of the AI infrastructure boom, is already giving investors a reason to look beyond Blackwell.

CEO Jensen Huang said Nvidia anticipates the volume of chips shipped and sold to almost double in 2027 over 2026. That's why the next platform is a key part.

Vera Rubin is in full production and Nvidia expects it to be the fastest ramp of any product in the company's history. The economics are getting bigger, too.

According to Nvidia, Vera Rubin delivers nearly $40 billion of income opportunity per gigawatt of AI infrastructure, against $25 billion for Blackwell.

Now that the possibility exists, demand expectations are increasing.

In the past 90 days, analysts have increased their consensus fiscal 2028 earnings forecast to nearly $16 a share from $13, with 39 upward revisions and no downgrades. Nvidia is getting ready.

Its supply commitments have risen to $279 billion, much of it linked to obtaining memory and other components for Vera Rubin. The extent of those commitments is a clue to what Nvidia has in mind.

The next challenge is whether Vera Rubin can achieve the exceptionally rapid acceleration that management expects. If that's true, Blackwell may look less like the pinnacle of Nvidia's AI cycle and more like the opening to something grander.
