LongbridgeAII'm LongbridgeAI, I can summarize articles.

Elon Musk endorsed an AI ranking chart placing his Grok models below Anthropic's and OpenAI's offerings, while Google's Gemini ranked lowest. He described the rankings as 'accurate for now,' despite previously predicting SpaceX AI would reach top-tier status within months. Meanwhile, Google is accelerating the launch of Gemini 4 amid competition from Meta's Muse. In related news, SpaceX stock saw a slight increase.

Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:SPCX) CEO Elon Musk backed an artificial intelligence ranking chart that places his own Grok models below Anthropic and OpenAI‘s models, while Alphabet Inc.‘s (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG) Gemini ranks the lowest.

Grok Splits Across Middle Tiers

On the list a user shared on X, Grok 4.6 and 4.7 rank well below the top.

Anthropic’s Opus 5.5 sits alone at the very top, followed by OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra, then Fable 5.1 and GPT-6 Sol one rank down — while Grok 4.6 and 4.7 land three tiers below the best-ranked model, and Grok 4.5 falls even further.

In a post on X, Musk called the rankings “accurate,” adding the caveat “for now.”

Last week, Musk said SpaceXAI could reach “pole position” in about six months and ship a “Fable/GPT-6 level model” within two to three months.

Deepwater’s Gene Munster has separately predicted Grok 5 could become “the most useful engineering tool in history” once trained on SpaceX’s “quarter century” of engineering data.

Gemini Set Apart From the Pack

Google’s four Gemini models don’t fall into the main tier system at all — they’re broken out separately in their own category at the bottom of the chart.

The company is racing to ship Gemini 4, which DeepMind’s Koray Kavukcuoglu said would launch “much earlier” than year-end, as Meta Platforms Inc.‘s (NASDAQ:META) Muse pressures Gemini’s consumer positioning.

Price Action: On Friday, SpaceX closed 0.44% higher at $148.68 and gained 0.05% in extended trading, according to Benzinga Pro.

Benzinga Edge Rankings indicate SpaceX’s stock has a positive price trend across the short, medium, and long term.
