A US judge blocked Henkel's acquisition of the Liquid Nails business from Pittsburgh Paint Co. following an FTC lawsuit filed in December. The ruling permanently prohibits the merger, which would have combined two major suppliers of liquid construction adhesives. Pittsburgh Paint is owned by American Industrial Partners.
