Jubilee Metals Group has restarted run-of-mine deliveries from its Molefe Mine to the Sable refinery in Zambia, aiming to double throughput to 10,000 tonnes per month by October 2026. This move supports its integrated mine-to-metals growth plan. Meanwhile, TipRanks' AI Analyst rates JLP stock as Neutral due to deteriorating financial performance and negative free cash flow, despite operational improvements.

An announcement from Jubilee Metals Group ( (GB:JLP) ) is now available.

Jubilee Metals Group has restarted run-of-mine deliveries from its Molefe Mine to the Sable refinery in Zambia, marking a key step in its integrated copper growth plan. Management says Molefe is evolving into a cornerstone asset that validates its scalable mine-to-metals model designed for replication across the country.

Under an updated mine plan that merges Pits 2 and 3, high-grade ore deliveries to Sable are targeted to rise from 6,000 tonnes per month in June to 10,000 tonnes by October 2026, more than doubling throughput. Jubilee is also advancing on-site ore sorting and processing and expanding drilling across the Molefe district to support a larger JORC-compliant resource and sustained production growth.

The accelerated pre-stripping programme, expected to finish in July, is intended to unlock a broader copper reef package and raise high-grade deliveries to over 30,000 tonnes per quarter, with total reef output seen reaching 60,000 tonnes per quarter at a 6:1 stripping ratio. The company argues this hub-and-spoke approach, centred on Sable, enhances feed flexibility and project economics, strengthening its competitive position in Zambia’s copper sector.

Jubilee will brief investors on 10 June via an online presentation outlining Molefe’s role in the Zambia strategy, production ramp-up milestones, updated mine planning and ongoing exploration. The company expects an independent JORC-compliant resource statement for Molefe following completion of its Phase 2 drilling programme, currently targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to timely assay results.

Spark’s Take on JLP Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, JLP is a Neutral.

The score is held down primarily by the severe deterioration in recent financial performance (revenue/profit collapse and negative free cash flow). The earnings call adds modest support via disposal-related de-risking and Zambia improvement efforts, but deferred guidance and operational/financing uncertainties remain. Technical indicators and valuation are neutral-to-weak given negative momentum signals and loss-making earnings.
