Netflix shares are falling after Q3 results. Here's why.

Streaming giant Netflix Inc (NASDAQ:NFLX) reported third-quarter financial results Tuesday after market close.

Here are the highlights.

Netflix Q3 Financials

Netflix reported third-quarter revenue of $12.874 billion, up 12% year-over-year. The revenue total narrowly missed a Street consensus estimate of $12.876 billion, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

The company reported earnings of 87 cents per share, beating a Street consensus estimate of 82 cents per share.

Netflix said revenue growth was driven by subscription revenue with increases in both memberships and pricing, alongside growth in advertising revenue.

The company said retention was strong in every region, with churn rates better than forecast.

Revenue by region was the following:

  • UCAN: $5.63 billion, +11% year-over-year
  • EMEA: $4.11 billion, +11%
  • LATAM: $1.60 billion, +17%
  • APAC: $1.54 billion, +12%

"Member response to our 2026 price changes is consistent with prior adjustments and our expectations , an indicator that our engagement – which encompasses quantity, quality and variety of viewing – remains healthy and that we continue to deliver strong value to members," the company said.
