LongbridgeAII'm LongbridgeAI, I can summarize articles.

CLSA initiated coverage on SpaceX with an Outperform rating and a $250 target price, valuing the company at approximately $3.3 trillion via sum-of-the-parts analysis. The broker highlights SpaceX's vertical integration across space, connectivity, and AI sectors, driven by Starship commercialization. Key valuation components include $1.84T for AI, $740B for Space, and $680B for Connectivity. Investment thesis relies on successful Starship rollout, while risks involve commercialization delays and high capital requirements.

CLSA said in a research report that Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SPCX.US) embodies an economic revolution as a vertically integrated conglomerate spanning manufacturing, infrastructure and technology. Built around Starship as its core value proposition, the company capitalizes launch costs into connectivity and AI businesses, creating a self-reinforcing flow of revenue, cash and capital. The broker initiated coverage with an Outperform rating and derived a USD250 target price based on a sum-of-the-parts valuation using 2030 forecasts.

CLSA said the Space segment is centered on Starship through Starbase LA, while Super Heavy is already the most powerful booster in history and could achieve a near-monopoly in launch services once commercialized. In the connectivity segment, Starlink and Starmind are close to monopolizing satellites, with bandwidth deployment serving as a key metric. V3 is expected to significantly enhance capabilities compared with V2. The segment has already turned profitable and margins are expected to expand. In the AI segment, the company directly addresses computing power and electricity bottlenecks through hardware and could eventually move toward orbital data centers. On the software side, Grok 5 is trained using SpaceX engineering data, while Cursor has penetrated about 64% of Fortune 500 companies, which CLSA believes has not been fully appreciated.

The broker derived a valuation of about USD3.3 trillion based on a sum-of-the-parts approach, including about USD740 billion for the Space business, about USD680 billion for Connectivity and about USD1.84 trillion for AI, while setting the target price at USD250. CLSA said the investment thesis ultimately depends on the successful commercialization of Starship. Catalysts include reliable operations, V3 deployment, improved monetization of computing power and increased public float. Risks include delays in commercialization, substantial capital requirements, unclear economics of orbital AI, concentrated governance, valuation premiums and antitrust proceedings.
