Microsoft$Alphabet(GOOGL.US) Google has appealed an Indian court ruling that found it violated trademark rights by allowing competitors to bid on its name as a keyword for ads, claiming it will adversely impact consumers. The ruling, which ordered Google to pay damages, could reshape India's digital ad market, where the company earned $4.1 billion last year but faces multiple antitrust cases. Legal experts indicate that if upheld, the decision will significantly alter online advertising dynamics, as it may grant trademark owners excessive control over ad placements. As a Google investor, I'm not worried because I know this Google is more likely than not able to win the lawsuit or just pay a fine and get on with it. @Captain's Treasure
