US Stock Weekly: Which direction will be chosen next week?

This week, U.S. stocks showed a pattern of "consolidating near all-time highs with internal rotation." The S&P 500 faced resistance and pulled back before the 7,000-point mark due to rising Treasury yields and geopolitical noise, while the Nasdaq remained relatively resilient thanks to the strength of AI tech stocks. Looking ahead to next week, the macro landscape will see a critical showdown between core PCE inflation data and the Fed's rate policy window, alongside a flurry of earnings reports from tech giants. The market may exit this week's "vacuum volatility phase" and make a directional move driven by both inflation expectations and earnings performance. Short-term caution is advised against volatility risks from elevated valuations, and preparations should be made in advance.

Friday review/First test 6866 then rebound? Earnings week next week, how will the market move?

The market on Friday was much quieter than Thursday, basically just fluctuating up and down, which can be considered a "day off" after the big swings in the past few days. Although the weekly chart still shows a decline, the lower shadow is very obvious, indicating that there was buying at lower levels, and the trend hasn't broken. The focus will be on the latter half of next week, as the earnings reports of large-cap stocks will determine the direction. Short-term resistance is first seen around 7050. As for NVIDIA, it remained stable despite Intel's sharp drop, with the weekly chart still showing an upward oscillation. As a core large-cap stock, its trend remains intact, and there's still room for further upside...
