Over the past couple of days, AI frontier models have been going at it again: Gemini 3.8 FLASH/MUSE/Fable. Performance benchmarks look solid; next up is chatGPT 5.7 or 6 (Astra). I don't think chatGPT will widen the gap, though model capabilities may start to diverge—while chatGPT could lead in reasoning, Fable may maintain its edge in coding. For true collaborative workflows, however, chatGPT Codex remains the most practical choice for now, given its more realistic usage quotas.
