Mount Everest Gold closed up 9.84% at HK$0.670 today, driven by a surge in gold sales that pushed earnings into profitability. The stock opened low at HK$0.630 in the morning session, gradually climbed through the day, and hit an intraday high of HK$0.700 during the afternoon before pulling back slightly but remained firm. Q4 revenue soared 343.6% YoY to HK$139.4 million, net profit turned positive at HK$15.3 million, and EPS rose 323% to HK$0.012. However, despite the robust fundamental turnaround, the stock remains well below its MA20 (HK$0.762) and MA60 (HK$0.911), and is 76.82% off its 52-week high of HK$2.89, with a YTD decline of 73.62%. Accelerated mine exploration spending and a new silver purchase framework provided additional catalysts.
