Shimmick Corporation provides turnkey infrastructure solutions to the water, energy, climate resiliency, and transportation markets in the United States. It expands, rehabilitates, upgrades, builds, and rebuilds water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, such as desalination plants; implements treatment technologies, including ozonation, biological activated carbon, membrane filtration, reverse osmosis, chemical treatment, and oxidation; and removes pollutants and contaminants from wastewater before it is released back into ecosystems. The company also constructs, rehabilitates, and upgrades dams, reservoirs, and water conveyance and storage systems, as well as flood control systems, pump stations, and coastal protection infrastructure; and builds and upgrades levees, flood walls, pump stations, drainage systems, and strengthens existing infrastructure in preparation to withstand severe weather events and in response to events to facilitate recovery. In addition, it constructs light passenger rail and bus rapid transit mass transit systems; personal rapid transit, autonomous transportation solutions; implements intelligent transportation; modifies facilities to accommodate electric vehicle fleets for transit agencies and municipalities; implement renewable energy components; and supports data center construction for critical infrastructure comprising mass transit, bridges, and military infrastructure.
